Philips is one of the biggest electronics manufacturers in the world founded in 1891 by Gerard Philips and his father Frederik.

At first they manufactured light bulbs which expanded to consumer electronics , healthcare technology and home appliances including coffee machines with the acquisition of Gaggia and Saeco brand in 2009.
