We haven't produced a tutorial video for installing this brass boiler on a Classic yet, but we plan to release one in January. You can purchase the boiler now and wait for the video, or proceed with installation if you have expertise in this area.
The boiler heating elements have been tested with a multimeter, and all threads and surfaces have been carefully inspected. Additionally, we have successfully installed one of these boilers into a pre-2014 Classic model without any issues.

Gaggia has recently introduced their latest Classic model, the E24. The major differences between the Gaggia Classic E24 and earlier models include a lead-free brass boiler assembly and group head, as well as a stainless steel coffee holder. See the "Related Products" section for other improved parts. This new brass boiler assembly (Top part with the heating elements) has increased capacity by about 25% and weighing about 1.3 kg, compared to the aluminum boiler which weighs 527g.
Disadvantage: The warm-up time to reach "coffee and steam ready" status will slightly increase.
To get the best out of your espresso, whether using the aluminum or brass boiler, attach the empty coffee holder to the group head, switch on the machine, and wait 10 minutes before brewing your first shot.
However, the steam pressure and temperature stability are improved. This new brass boiler can be retrofitted on any Gaggia Classic model (except for the 2015 model). Click on "Fit List" to see the full list of compatible models.
UPDATE 07/12/2024: We deleted the Gaggia New Baby 06 range from the "Fit list". Although this boiler is compatible, it is too heavy for the plastic component plate (it holds the boiler) on the New Baby 06 models.
