Just like your car, your coffee machine requires regular care to maintain reliable performance and extend its lifespan. This care can be divided into two essential categories: Maintenance and Servicing.

Maintenance

Maintenance involves routine tasks performed every few months, including:

• Descaling your machine
• Lubricating the brew unit
• Removing coffee residue using degreasing tablets

Servicing

Servicing refers to proactively replacing components that naturally wear out over time, before they fail, to significantly reduce the risk of disruptions to your daily coffee routine.

Based on years of hands-on experience, we've carefully assembled this essential service kit containing the critical components recommended for replacement every 8 years, or approximately every 8,000 cups brewed, whichever comes first.
We also recommend conducting an inspection every 2 to 3 years to identify any leaks or worn O-rings early, which could indicate the need for servicing ahead of schedule.

Tools

You`ll need the following tools:

• T20 Torx screwdriver: Used to remove the screw from the grinder finger protector (This size of the screwdriver required may vary between T10, T15 and T20),
• T10 torx screwdriver: For removing the remaining screws,
• Small Flat screwdriver: Ideal for safely removing o-rings and plastic components,
• Cable cutter: Used to remove/peel off  Oetiker Clamp.(find the end of the oetiker clamp and peel it off the tube). To Install, squeeze the bottom of the loop on the new clamp.
• 12mm spanner: used to separate the pump from the OPV
